I am Jonathan Discipulo, born in Manila. For those asking if I am a Filipino–Yes, I am. Pinoy na pinoy po ako!

I am a programmer who loves to make my own solutions to known and unknown problems. I have many innovative ideas but I don’t have the luxury of time to implement them all. I started programming at the age of 11; I was exploiting GWBASIC’s PLAY command that time. From there, I learned QuickBASIC, then Turbo Pascal and C. Years passed and now I am utilizing most of today’s programming languages and technologies, combining them to make better web applications. To sum up, I am capable of combining PHP, MySQL, Flash, Javascript, AJAX, XML, XHTML and CSS when developing a site.

I am an artist by nature. My dad is a composer/ singer and  my mom is a writer; I adapted both of their skills. I play the piano and other musical instruments and I love soul music very much. My mom used to teach me writing essays and that leads to improving my writing skills. Apart from writing and singing, I have developed designing skills on my own through research and experience. I design websites mostly with earth tone colors. I am more of creating clean layouts rather than coming up with artistic designs. As long as the interface is usable and soothing to eyes then I would go for it.
